What We Do.

The 143Edit is an bold, innovative and exciting internship opportunity with Middlesex University's BA Creative Writing & Journalism programme created and curated by the University's Careers and Employability Service, MDXworks.

Our brand new online arts and culture magazine offers hands-on experience in digital publishing, journalism, creative writing, and media production through the development of an online magazine and an on-camera news show. Students take on key roles—including Editors, Journalists, Creative Writers, Production Coordinators, and a Social Media Coordinator—to produce compelling, community-focused content.

This project aligns with Middlesex University’s mission to strengthen connections between MDX and the local community. Participants gain valuable industry experience, collaborate with peers, and build a professional portfolio while engaging with real-world stories from Barnet and beyond.
